Driver Representation & Advocacy

Many e-hailing drivers operate independently, which can leave them vulnerable to unfair policies, platform changes, and regulatory issues. SAEHA acts as a united body that ensures drivers' concerns are heard and addressed at both governmental and industry levels - engaging with transport authorities, platforms, and policymakers to help create fairer working conditions, transparent operations, and equitable opportunities for every member.

02

Training & Professional Development

Quality service begins with skilled, confident, well-informed drivers. Through workshops and training programmes, SAEHA equips members with practical knowledge in areas such as customer service, road safety, financial management, and digital literacy - helping members build sustainable livelihoods and the respect of passengers and industry partners alike.

03

Support & Welfare Services

The nature of e-hailing work can be unpredictable - vehicle breakdowns, accidents, and health emergencies happen. SAEHA provides guidance and access to support so that members are not left to face difficult moments alone, including the funeral benefit for members in good standing (see Membership for full terms).

04

Partnership & Industry Collaboration

SAEHA works closely with stakeholders - including government bodies, platforms, and transport technology firms - to make sure drivers' voices are represented in decisions that affect them, driving innovation, improving safety standards, and promoting sustainable economic participation across the industry.

Member benefits

Practical support, alongside advocacy.

Members in good standing also receive tangible welfare benefits, including a funeral cover payout for a registered driver involved in a fatal accident. Full terms, the once-off joining fee, and the monthly contribution are set out on the Membership page.
