This Privacy Policy explains how the South African E-Hailing Association ("SAEHA", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through saeha.co.za, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us through our forms, for example your name, contact details, ID number, and vehicle details on the Membership Application; or your name, contact details, and message on our Contact, Driver Support, or Partnership forms. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party advertising scripts on this site.

How your information is used

When you submit a form, this website generates a PDF summary of your submission that downloads to your own device, then opens a pre-filled WhatsApp message addressed to SAEHA's official number. Your information is not transmitted to any SAEHA server or third-party database by this website; it is sent to SAEHA only if and when you personally choose to send the WhatsApp message.

Once received via WhatsApp, email, or phone, SAEHA uses your information solely to process your enquiry, membership application, or assistance request, and to communicate with you about it.

Documents

The Membership Application currently asks you to select an ID copy and photo for your own reference. These files are read only by your own browser to display the file name back to you; they are not uploaded anywhere by this website. You will be asked to attach these files yourself as separate WhatsApp attachments.

Under POPIA, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information held by SAEHA. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
